This artwork (a special commission) was created in charcoal on paper by Andrée Marcoux. The work pays homage to a Bernese Mountain Dog who accompanied his owner for much of his life. Through black and white, I wanted to capture the loyalty, gentleness, and quiet strength of this exceptional companion. Each line evokes the faithful presence of a dog who offered support and comfort simply through his unconditional love.
